TBBC believes the Word of God must be central to all its ministries. Every activity of our church is either directly or indirectly, an outgrowth of precepts taught in the Scriptures. It is by the Word of God that we are saved. It is also by the Word of God that we are sanctified and instructed in loving and serving one another.

Man's most dire need is salvation from his own sin and the just judgement of God that ensues as a consequence of it. TBBC places an emphasis on the preaching of the gospel, balancing both of its vital aspects: justification and sanctification. We believe New Testament Christianity teaches that a vital relationship with Christ must evidence itself externally in a lifestyle that is very different to that of the world.
